A special thank you to Gerber for allowing me the opportunity to attend their Dallas event. I had a great time learning about Gerber Lil Bits. All opinions shared are 100% my own.
I can’t hardly believe she is going to be 6 months old in just a couple of weeks. Teeth are just around the corner and as of lately she is enjoying a daily bowl of rice cereal with some Gerber baby food on the side. I finally dug out the old baby seat and have been using that as a high chair for the moment. I’d kinda forgotten how much fun it can be to feed a baby.. Messes just don’t matter to them!
We’re not on to Gerber’s 3rd Foods® Lil Bits™ yet – we’re still just getting used to things like apples and pears. Once she’s had a good introduction to a range of different flavors and no big allergic reactions, we’ll be graduating on to the next steps when she’s ready.
There’s more of a chunky texture, so baby will learn use those new little teeth they just grew! Chewing is a very important developmental milestone in babies and Gerber has created just the right size for baby’s palate. After testing over 30000 spoonfuls of Lil Bits™ recipes, Gerber has mastered the recipe for this age group to master the art of chewing.
Behold! Sweet potato, apple, carrots & cinnamon…
Mmm! Sounds like autumn in a jar! There’s also some other flavors too – 7 fruits and 3 veggies to be exact. With flavors like apple blueberry and orchard fruit medley i would be excited to explore flavor combinations!
One of the fun parts about blogging is getting invited to kid-friendly events. Last week I wrangled both my little monsters and took them to a local event featuring Gerber’s 3rd Foods® Lil Bits™. JP had so much fun helping me take care of his little sister and I got to take home a fun box of promotional goodies from Gerber ChewU. Enroll your little chewer for the chance to win great stuff as well! Learn more by visiting Gerber ChewU.
