Can you hardly believe that we are officially in the “holiday season”?? I’m so excited that Thanksgiving is finally here and the kids have been home all week from school. We have had plenty of fun watching Christmas movies and getting into the spirit all week. Since we plan on having a huge turkey feast tomorrow at my in-laws, we decided to make couple of frozen classic crust pizzas from Red Baron for dinner the night before. I had a busy day shooting Christmas mini sessions and I was pretty beat. It’s days like that have me searching for easy dinner options!
I decided to stock up on a few of these because re-heated holiday leftovers get old after a few meals and pizza helps change it up. Plus it’s also super easy to bake in about 10 minutes at 400F!
Friday will be filled with lots of leftovers and putting up the Christmas decorations so the less meal prep I have to do, the better! Melody was so excited when I took this pizza out of the oven – she couldn’t wait to get her slice!
The four cheese classic crust pizza from Red Baron had the perfect blend with a classic tomato sauce. Even the supreme version had sausage, pepperoni, green and red peppers and onions. While I’m not a huge fan of onions, both my husband and son thought it was great.
Frozen pizzas are great to stock up on and keep in the freezer when you are in need of a quick snack or light dinner. Took me a grand total of 30 minutes to get it cooked and served – including oven pre heating time!
