Infants are generally easy when it comes to feeding because all they drink is milk. Once they hit the 6 month mark and the pediatrician makes the suggestion to begin solid foods, everything begins to change and your baby starts taking their first steps forward in developing their digestive system. One food that I always used as a ‘first’ food for both my kids is organic baby yogurt like the one from Happy Family.

One challenge I face with regard to feeding Melody is that she likes to drink more than she likes to eat. Often times I can’t give her anything to drink when I give her food because she will load up on the drink first and the meal gets forgotten. Because of this, I am always looking for creative ways to sneak in vitamins and minerals into her tummy. Yogurt is one of those foods that falls into the liquid category according to M, so it works out well as a snack. Recently we have tried Happy Family Organic Yogurt from Walmart and so far she loves it!

We found the squeezable pouches within the refrigerated dairy/yogurt section. Melody loves to cheese it up when the camera comes out!

We also found the tiny yogurts that are perfect as a first food when you begin feeding your baby solid food. Yogurt is a staple snack in our household so I decided to get both varieties.
