Learning about baby food this week has really given me some food for thought (no pun!)… Have you ever wondered how pure your baby’s food is?
When I really think about it, I realize I’m guilty of buying all sorts of baby food – organic, non-gmo or sometimes just whatever is on clearance. Recently I tried Happy Baby Clearly Crafted™ Organic Baby Food from Wamart and I (and Melody) loved it! After hearing about some of the horror stories that live inside non see-through packaging like the infamous juice boxes with mold inside, I decided a big selling point for me is being able to see the food I’m buying.
Call me strange, but when it’s a ready-to-serve food like this I feel good about seeing what the food looks like inside it’s packaging – especially if I’m feeding it to my child! For me, there’s something natural about the shade of green from the apples, kale & avocado that remind me of home made guac. I doubt I would want to feed either of my babies anything that has an off color to it which is another reason why I love the transparency in the packaging on the Happy Baby Clearly Crafted™ Organic Baby Food.
The fact that Happy Baby Clearly Crafted™ uses their actual product color as part of the packaging puts alot of emphasis on how much they believe in their product. Just think – if there was something unnatural or gross about what they are selling, you would see that right away and be turned off from buying it..
I was able to find my favorite Happy Baby Clearly Crafted™ Organic Baby Food flavors at my local Walmart and I came home with a 4 pack of Apples, Kale & Avocado along with Apples, Guava & Beets. It doesn’t get healthier than Kale and the flavors from the freshness make it taste SO much better than the regular no-name brand.
