Aunt Flo can be a real damper on life in general during that time, and the first day is always the worst. When she visits, I try to take some time to myself to relax and let my ibuprofen work its magic. Usually this consists of something chocolate, a magazine or a hot bath and most importantly – protection that you can trust!
Can’t forget the yoga pants and soft t-shirts that is my menstrual uniform!
I decided to give these a try because I wanted to see how they compared to the other leading brands of menstrual protection that I’ve been a loyal user of. Like other brands, they offer the mixed absorbancy protection (super & regular) conveniently together in one box. I love that!!
Also, the coupon from CVS was pretty helpful in making my decision – click here for a $2 off coupon on any Kotex U product!
I also picked up the compact version that fits nicely into your purse. In my case, it would be my purse/diaper bag and its already packed to capacity! Any ways to minimize my load makes me very happy.
So what’s your favorite thing to do when you’re going through that blah wish-you-could-climb-under-a-rock feeling? Myself personally – its chocolate! I was going to buy some when I got these Kotex U tampons at CVS, but then I was bummed when I quickly remembered my gluten free diet that I now have to abide by.
So long, my favorite velvety, buttery tasting chocolate….
Instead, I opted for my special gluten free cookies at home, with a copy of People mag. When I’m not feeling well, a good tabloid is always an entertaining read. The cookies aren’t half bad either – you’d never know they were made without any wheat.
See what others are talking about and possibly win a $250 gift card to CVS. Don’t forget to follow Kotex on their social channels – you never know when they announce special offers and coupons!
