Halloween, School events and the holidays are coming and with that comes sharing pictures of said events. While I love taking my big camera, it can sometimes be a bigger pain than its worth. Between wrangling a baby and a child I’m scared that the worst will happen and I’ll accidentally drop it, so I’ve opted to use my cell phone to capture these types of occasions and save my pro camera for portraits.
We have tickets to visit a local pumpkin patch this year, I’ll need to capture all those glorious moments with my smart phone. I thought the LG Leon would be a perfect change especially since I find the camera I have difficult to work with. I cant wait to try it out on my muchkins! Its going to make walking around outdoors snapping photos of my kids much easier than my with my big camera. Although I know I’m compromising image quality with a less powerful camera, I just don’t think I can juggle 2 kids, a stroller, a diaper bag and a camera that needs as much protection as the baby. I would be heartbroken if I dropped it so until I can give holding it my 100%, I’ll have to use a simple camera for now!
I like my current phone, but I’m a tech junkie and can’t resist trying a new one especially when they’re on rollback at Walmart for only $79.82. Walmart Family Mobile plans start at $29.88/month (for the first line) and you get Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 1G of 4G LTE data. Its possibly one of the best plans for fall out there and I’m always looking for ways to stretch my dollar further!
They have a good variety of phones, so there’s something for everyone – I picked up the LG Leon LTE, but there’s also the Alcatel One Touch Pop Astro for $64.88 that I hear is a really great value.
If you’re not familiar with Walmart Family Mobile, be sure to pick up a starter kit when you get the phone and save yourself a trip back to the store! The starter kit is basically the chip that you place inside your phone to begin service.
I love how thin and light it is! A new phone definitely helps staying in touch with loved ones fun and easy to do especially while we go apple picking or visiting the pumpkin patch next month. Then in December this phone will be among 1000 other phones recording a school Christmas program. I better make sure its a good one!
How are you going to record your family’s fall plans?
