When you’re pregnant its not always easy to feel pretty, so these days I have to do small things to compensate. Fixing your hair just right is one of those things that always looks nice if you put in the time and effort to blow dry and/or curl. I’m one of those blessed people that must always blow-dry my wet hair or face the frizzy consequences if I don’t. I don’t know if this holds true for others, but one of the things that help me with frizz control is the shampoo that I use. I like Head & Shoulders shampoo – its my favorite go-to beauty product that always helps me have good hair days!
So I decided to use my new Head & Shoulders duo to give my hair some much needed moisture – after all, it is winter and I do dye my hair on a regular basis…
One of my favorite things about this shampoo is the thick lather of suds that I get when I massage it through my long hair. That, plus the coconut smell that fills the shower makes it truly a calgon moment for this tired mommy! Then I applied the co-wash and let it sit in my hair for a few moments before rinsing…It’s luxurious, thick and smells wonderful!
I love how soft and silky my hair feels when the water washes out the co-wash! Sometimes mornings can be hectic if you’re in a rush to shower quickly – that’s when the Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 comes in handy! You still get the same squeaky clean feeling and the moisturizing co-wash. If you really want to go all out, you can finish the job with step 3 – the scalp soother that helps keep your scalp moisturized and flake free.
Once I got dried off and dressed, I combed out my wet hair…
And then I blow dried my hair straight with a big round brush – My hair felt healthy, soft & silky!
So to finish it off, I used some finishing spray to keep it looking fresh all day. Do you have any special hair care regimen? I’d love to hear more about it!
