A 1o minute clean up with mommy's little helper - #InstaClean #CollectiveBias #Shop

There’s many things out there that I LOVE to do, such as taking my son to the park, baking cookies, shopping… However, cleaning is not one of them! Of course I realize there’s some small amount of cleaning that is necessary to keep a home healthy, and that’s what I shoot for. #InstaClean

Doorknobs and countertops get wiped down on a regular basis, especially during flu season – you know, the quick 10 minute clean. It doesn’t help matters when you have a little boy who likes to eat with his hands and leaves the kitchen table before you have a chance to make sure he washes his hands! #CollectiveBias

This is why cleaning is becoming somewhat of an important chore around here. We go by the rule, “if you mess it up – you clean it up” and I think it’s beginning to work. He actually enjoys when I delegate a chore for him to do and actually takes pride in making it the cleanest possible. With any luck, I’m hoping that he won’t want to mess up anything that he worked hard cleaning!

So when I was at Kroger Marketplace last week, I picked up some of my favorite cleaners. I noticed that Windex® had a new scent  (Crystal Rain) which I had to try, along with a vinegar based multi-surfaced cleaner. I also coupled it with some Pledge® furniture polish for my kitchen table and chairs. If you don’t have a local Kroger, there’s many Kroger affiliates out there that include Baker’s Supermarkets, City Market, Dillons Food Stores, Fry’s Food And Drug, Gerbes Super Markets, Harris Teeter, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen’s, Pay Less Super Markets, QFC, Ralphs, Scott’s, Smith’s, Fred Meyer, and Food 4 Less.

Mommy’s little helper does a great job in helping me wipe down the chairs, and of course the hard to reach places I don’t want to do like under the table! I used the Lemon Pledge® on my wooden kitchen table.

Did you know that between November 3rd through November 11th, you can save on Windex® with the Buy 4 Save $4 Mega Event. The Pledge® promotion runs from November 10th through December 27th – stock up now for the holiday season!

So I put my little guy to work this weekend, and had him help me clean the kitchen.  I was surprised at how well he listened and did what I asked when I gave him some responsibility. In case you are interested – download my kitchen deep clean checklist to help you remember all those areas we easily can forget!

So how well does the Windex® do? I think it left my windows crystal clear! What do you think? The second photo is the side of my neighbor’s house – taken from inside my kitchen, behind my window. Looks as though it was taken outside!
