Ever since moving to Texas 8 long years ago, I was never known to have seasonal allergies. Coughing, sneezing and a runny nose usually meant I was getting sick. Now when this time of year comes, I have a few of those symptoms come out. JP gets it even worse and ever since he was a baby, he struggled with allergy issues .

Not much has changed in five years, so now when allergy season hits, I prepare our family by heading to Walgreens and stocking up on some medications and extras. I don’t give JP medication every day, but I like to have it around for the occasional flare-ups when his allergy issues are acting up.

Administering medicine has always been a challenge when it comes to JP. I have to deal with “It tastes bad!” and “Nooo – I hate it” while running away. Often times, I sneak a dose of allergy meds into a juice box with a plastic syringe. The liquid Wal-Dryl from the lineup of allergy medications from Walgreens will finally be the one that he is ok with. He loves grape flavored anything, so having him open up for a spoonful of grape flavored syrup was a whole lot easier – its even sugar-free!

Of course, with allergies comes the boogers so I picked up some Walgreens tissue paper when I got a bottle of Wal-Dryl. I also got some boogie wipes, which are pre-moistened cloths to help wipe your runny nose. Plus, if it cheers him up when he’s not feeling the best, I’m all for it.
