Throughout this winter season, Saturday mornings have been fun & lazy – often involving eggs, pancakes and sausage. While I’m the biggest fan of a hot & filling morning meal, Its important to me to watch the calories going into spring. So I have decided – we are gonna get healthy & active going into March. Starting with enrolling JP in baseball classes, so of course that means no more lazy Saturday mornings for us. Instead, it’s going to be bright and early on the practice field hitting home runs… (or atleast try!)

Usually when I try other brands of ‘healthy’ breakfast cereals, I was expecting something that tasted like the box it came out of. I must say, when I finally did try Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy I was floored by how delicious it was! With two very yummy flavors, Chocolate Almond Crunch and Cinnamon Crunch I had a hard time deciding which one I liked better.. Both JP and I agree – we love the chocolate one! With just enough sweetness, this breakfast cereal still gives you the false impression of a sugary cereal, yet it’s bursting with healthy grains, vitamins, minerals and protein.
