We’ve got a new toy in the house and it’s been here awhile.. Recently my hubby was lucky enough to get his hands on his very own XBOX One console. Lately, it’s been fun to watch him and JP bond by playing with it together in the evenings. My problem with it? Some of the games are not really kid-friendly. Although it doesn’t faze him (which amazes me) I would rather him play with something a little less grown up.
Before the Black Friday madness set in at Walmart, I picked up Forza Motorsport 5 for the cool price of 49.00$! I love the sales on Black Friday, but there was no way I was going near a Walmart so I decided to take advantage of the Pre-Black Friday deals to be had.
I love that a driving game is more appropriate for him to play with, So I decided to fill Dad’s stocking early and surprise him with a little something when he came home from work the other day…
I can’t forget about the yummy pretzel M&M’s either.. I bought two bags of these because I know for a fact neither of us will probably want to share! I munched on mine while I wrapped and curled some pretty ribbon around the game. Plus it looks so cute in my Christmas mug!

I had some other reasons as well, as to why I wanted to buy a snack and video games… I was eligible for a 10$ Walmart gift card through Buy, Snap and Redeem by texting a picture of my receipt to 811811! You have to make certain that you buy a large bag of either regular M&M’s, peanut or pretzel AND a copy of Forza 5 for xbox one. At first I was bit skeptical – So I texted a pic to see what would happen, and it bounced back the message that they received it and will be in touch. So nice!
