If there’s anything I really love, it’s an easy weeknight dinner that’s a crowd pleaser for the whole family. This week, after returning home from a long day, the last thing I felt like doing was making something elaborate. I thought this would make the perfect opportunity to break out my Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips and make some fun baskets with a side of Zesty Chili Sauce.
One of the things I noticed when I visited my local Sam’s Club to purchase my Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips was a set of these adorable red baskets. I thought they would be fun to serve up my Chicken Strips with Zesty Chili Sauce. I used some coffee filters to line it, and it worked perfectly – I love that it made a frilly edge!
So what’s this Zesty Chili Sauce all about? It’s super-simple and I made it to pair next to the cajun mustard that I made as well. All it is made of is sour cream mixed with Tone’s Chili Powder.
- Zesty Chili Sauce:
- 1 cup of Sour Cream
- 1 teaspoon of Tone's Chili Powder
- Cajun Mustard:
- 1 cup of Yellow Mustard
- 2 teaspoons of Tone's Cajun Seasoning
- For Zesty Chili Sauce:
- Mix together the sour cream and Tone's Chili Powder. Refrigerate before serving.
- For Cajun Mustard:
- Mix together the yellow mustard and Tone's Cajun Seasoning. Refrigerate before serving.
Yep! That was pretty easy, huh?
I owe thanks to the Sam’s Club Demo where I learned to make this awesome dip! Come learn a thing or two about how to jazz up Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips and make them into a unique meal – More demos coming – September 17: Italian Style Fish & Pasta, September 19: Smoked Sausage Pasta OR Quick ‘N’ Easy Chicken Parmesan and September 24: Chicken dippers.
