Been thinking about purchasing a new printer…

Been thinking about adding a new piece to my studio so I can print in large format and add some variety to my shop. Like any BIG purchase, I want to make sure I get the best bang for my buck and make sure it suits my current setup. Right now, I have my heart set on the fabulous Epson R2000 because it prints as good as it looks AND In multiple size formats!

It retails for around 500 bucks depending where you buy it, or who’s running the sale. As an entry level professional quality printer it’s affordable to those who can’t afford the 1000$ plus varieties (like me!). I’ve been trying to wait for a good deal on this one, because you can get lucky with an in-store coupon or manufacturer’s rebate.

  1. I want one that doesn’t eat through ink cartridges after 10 pages – I keep thinking a laser jet would be better, but what do you think? I haven’t really researched at all because I used to have my work printer available where I did most of my printing and now I only have my home one.
